Jacob Felländer
The Mountain Theory
August 22 & 24, 2017

Jacob Felländer opened the new season at CFHILL with his new series of works ”The Mountain Theory”, produced in collaboration with musician Anna Ternheim. The exhibition features ten portraits of mountains in different light and moods, all produced during 2015-2017.

Three rooms curated with eight artists from the new generation painters brought to Stockholm and CFHILL by british curator Francesca Gavin. With themes like design, colour, fashion and sexuality the rooms vibrated with with so much talent around us.

Collectors, media and friends enjoyed spectacular artworks, Absolut cocktails and a glimpse of the future.

Special thanks to Rhys Coren for coming to the opening and Francesca for sharing your discoveries with a wider audience.

Speed of Life
April 25-27, 2017

Monumental photos of chrome, dust and the worlds most extreme and extravagant sport covered the gallery walls when Mikael Janssons opened the exhibition ”Speed of Life”. Collectors, friends, curators and artists gathered for three opening events, and we are grateful to our co-hosts Carl Martinson and Filip Larsson and partner Autoropa where we enjoyed world class art and collectible cars accompanied with chef Christian Hellberg.

Friends, collectors and artlovers were invited to celebrate the two openings of the ”Ten by Ten” exhibition featuring iconic works of art from different periods and places, including masters like Keith Haring, Olafur Eliasson, Thomas Ruff, Niki de saint Phalle, Olle Baertling and Cecilia Edefalk. Archeology of Utopia
February 15 & 16, 2017

Three days of exhibition dinners, cocktails, and artist talks are over and we are so thrilled and grateful for all friends, art lovers, directors and collectors who’ve joined us to see the “Archeology of Utopia” curated by Sandra Weil including artists from all over the world: Siri Derkert, Mats Gustafson, Gal Weinstein, Ohad Meromi, Malin Fezehai and Christine Ödlund. At the same time on 3rd floor we present “Pinocchio, Pirates and Other Female Creatures” including five new light works cinema paintings from the Ventura studio by Ulf Rollof. Thanks to Nosh & Chow for creating such an amazing atmosphere and dinner.


Tomas Lundgren
January 18 & 19, 2017

Portraits in black and white, painted with a certain brush, on a certain type of canvas, only using two colours, ebony and titanium white. Tomas Lundgren opened the new season at CFHILL with his powerful exhibition Reenact. Curators, art collectors, media and friends gathered for two opening events of intimite dinners and cold beer from Stella Artois.

The preview for day 2 started with an artist talk between curator Rick Herron and Michael Stipe in front of hundreds of artlovers and R.E.M. fans.

Thank you everyone for making this evening into something special. As Rick Herron beautifully said during his introduction "look to the right, then to the left, then reach out and see what you can do for or with that person. THAT’s what Mentors is all about”.
